SUBJECT.—Import Policy for Registered Exporters for the year April, 1968—March, 1969.

No. 33-ITC(PN)/69.—Attention is invited to the Import Policy for Registered Exporters contained in Volume II of the Import Trade Control Policy Book (Red Book) for the year April, 1968—March, 1969 issued under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No 50-ITC(PN)/66, dated 1st April, 1968.

(2) The following amendments may be made at the appropriate places as indicated below:—

Note.—The percentage may be increased upto 100 per cent in special cases on the recommen- dation of the Textile Commissioner, for exports of shirts, trousers and jeans only. (xv) Pearl headed pins (5 per cent)." After the existing entry at (4), the following may be added :— "(5) Imports of woven labels of foreign import- ers may also be allowed under this group."

SUBJECT;—Flexibility provided in para 85 o/ the Import Trade Control Hand Book o/ Rules and Procedure, 1968.

No. 34-ITC(PN)/69.—Attention is invited to the provisions contained In paragraph 85 of Chapter IV of the Import Trude Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure, 1968, published under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 57-ITC(PN)/68) dated the 8th April, 1968, as amended.

2- In sub-clause (c) of sub-paragraph 85(1) (1), after the word 'specifications', the following shall bo added :—

"and the Import of items licensable under the import policy in force and subject to production of non-availability certificate from indigenous produce! s".

3. The provisions of the Import Trade Control Hand Book or Rules and Procedure, IMS may be deemed to have been amended accordingly.
