NOTIFICATIONS
Reddy, a member elected to the Council of States by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh, his election has been declared void and thereby a vacancy has been caused in the •;Gouncil of States:
Now, therefore, in pursuance or the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 14V of the Representation of the People Act, 195.1, the Election .Commission hereby calls upon the elected'members-- of the Legislative Assembly of, the State'of. Andhra Pradesh to elect, in accordance with the ,-provisions . of the'said Act- and of the rules and orders made thereunder, a person to fill the vacancy so caused, before the 18th March, 1969.

People Act, 1951; the Election Commission hereby appoints for the election to the Council, of States to be held in pursuance of its notification No. l00)0/CS-AP/3/68(l), dated the 25th February, 1069:—
(a) the 4th March, 1969, as the- last date for making" nominations; (b) the 6th March,,, 1869, as the date for the scrutiny of nominations;: (c) the 8th March, 1969, as the .last date for the withdrawal of candidatures; (d) the 15th March, 1969, as the date on which a poll shall, if necessary, be taken;- and
(e) the 18th March, 1969, as the date before which the election shall be completed.

S.O. 832,—In exercise of the powers conferred (by section 21 of the Represen- tatlon of the People Act, 1951, the Election Commission, In consultation with the- Government of Ar.dhra Pradesh, hereby designates the Secretary to the Govern- ment of Andhra Pradesh, Legislature Department, to be the Returning Officer for the election to the Council of States to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100/CS-AP/3/68U), dated the 25th February, 1969.

S.O. 823.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the Election Commission hereby appoints the Assistant Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Lefiis— lature (Committees) Department, to assist the Returning Officer for the election to the Council of States to be held hi pursuance of its notification No. 100/CS-AP/ 3/68(1), dated the 25th February, l!J69, in the performance of his functions.
