New Delhi , the 1st March 1969
G.S.R. 758. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (2) of section 6 of the Bengal Finance ( Sales - tax ) Act , 1941 ( Bengal Act 6 of 1941 ) , as in force in the Union territory of Delhi , the Central Government hereby makes with effect from the 1st March , 1969 the following further amendment in the Second Schedule to the said Act , the same having been previously published in the Official Gazette as G.S.R. 299 dated the 11th February , 1969 as required by the said sub - section , namely :-
In the said Schedule , after item No. 58 , the following item shall be added , namely :
" 59. Ready made garments of Khadi ." .
