CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi, the 5th March 1969
G.S.R. 762.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government hereby makes, with effect from lst March, 1969, the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Depart- rnent of Revenue and Insurance), No. 116/65-Central Excises, dated the 14th May, 1968, namely:—
'In the said notification,—
(i) for the words, figures and letter "under Item No. 22C", the words and figures "under Item Nos. 19, 21 and 22" shall be substituted;
(ii) for Explanation I, the following Explanation shall be substituted, namely:—
'Explanation I.—-For the purposes of this notification, "nylon fabrics" means those fabrics—
