8.O. 929. Whereas I , FG T. Menezes , have been authorised by the Vegetable Oil Products Controller for India under sub - clause ( a ) of clause 2 of the Vegetable Oil Products Control Order , 1947 , to exercise the powers of the Controller under the said Order ;
Now , therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - clause ( 1 ) of clause 6 of the Vegetable Oil Products Control Order , 1947 , read with the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Food and Agriculture No. G.S.R. 982, dated the 24th September , 1958 , and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Food , Agriculture , Community Develop- ment and Cooperation ( Department of Food ) , No. S.O. 378 , dated the 24th January , 1968 , I hereby fix, with the prior concurrence of the Central Government , the

Explanation : In this notification ,-
( 1) " retailer " means a dealer who sells not more than 16.5 kilogrammes of vege table oil product to any one consumer at a time .
it) "wholesaler " means a dealer who sells vegetable oil product,-
(
(a) to a retailer in any quantity , or
(b) to a consumer exceeding 16.5 kilogrammes at a time .
