NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 13th March 1969
S.O. 1039.- Whereas the Central Government , in exercise of the powers con- ferred by section 6 of the Export ( Quality Control and Inspection ) Act , 1963 ( 22 of 1963 ) , is of opinion that it is necessary or expedient to amend the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 1022 dated the 26th March , 1966 , in the manner specified below for the development of the export trade of India , and has forwarded the proposal in that behalf to the Export Inspection Council , as required by sub - rule ( 2 ) of rule 11 of the Export ( Quality Control and Inspection ) Rules , 1964;
Now, therefore , in pursuance of the said sub - rule the Central Government hereby publishes the said proposals for the information of the public likely to be affected thereby.
Notice is hereby given that any person desiring to forward any objections or suggestions with respect to the said proposals may forward the same within thirty days of the date of publication of this notificationon to the Export Inspection Council . World Trade Centre , 14 / 1 - B , Ezra Street ( 7th floor ) , Calcutta - 1 .
Proposals
The notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 1022 , dated the 26th March , 1969 shall be amended as follows , namely :-
( 1 ) in table ( C ) of the Annexurekure to the said notification , for the Grade Designation " DW or SSW " , the Grade Designation "DW " shall be substituted .

(ii) in table ( F ) of the Annexure to the said notification , for the existing entries under the column ' General characteristics' appearing against the General Designations " DP, DSP , DB and DS " , the following entry shall respectively , be substituted , namely : -
"Cashew Kernels shall have been obtained from shelling and peeling cashewnuts (Anacardium Occidentale ) shall be reasonably dry and free from insect damage and testa . The kernels may be deeply scroched and may have surface speckling and discolouration and may be brown , deep ivory or light to deep blue in colour . May be deformed and shrivelled due to immature nuts and may have spots" .

S.O. 1040. In pursuance of the directions issued under the provisions of each of the enact- ments specified in the First Schedule to the order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting No. S.O. 3792 dated the 2nd December , 1966 , the Central Govern- ment after considering the recommendations of the Film Advisory Board , Bombay hereby approves the films specified in column 2 of the Schedule annexed hereto in all their language versions to be of the description specified against each in column 6 of the said Schedule .
