S.O. 1312 - A . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Imports and Exports ( Control ) Act , 1947 (18 of 1947 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Imports ( Control ) Order , 1955 , namely :-
1. This Order may be called the Imports ( Control ) First Amendment Order , 1969 .
2. In the Imports ( Control ) Order , 1955 , in clause 11 , after sub - clause ( 2 ) , the following sub - clause shall be inserted , namely.-
" (3 ) Nothing in this Order shall apply to the import of foodgrains by the Food Corporation of India , provided that , at the time of clearance , a declaration to the effect that the impimport, question, has proved by the Central Government. is furnished by the importer to the Customs authorities . "

1. This Order may be called the Imports ( Control ) Third Amendment Order . 1969 .
2. In the Imports ( Control ) Order , 1955 , in clause 11 , in sub - clause ( 1 ) —
(a) in sub -paragraph ( g ) , in the first proviso , for the words , figures and brackets "Sen Customs Act , 1878 ( 8 of 1878 ) " , the words , figures and brackets " Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) " shall be substituted;
(b) in sub - paragraph ( k) —
( 1) for the words , figures and brackets " Section 25 of the Sea Customs Act, 1878 (8 of 1878 ) " , the words , figures and brackets " Section 20 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 )" , shall be substituted;
(11) the figures , words and letters " 322 , dated 27th December , 1957 , " shall be omitted;
( iii) for the word and figures " and 58 , " the figures " , 58 " shall be substi- tuted;
( iv ) the words , letters , figures and brackets " and No. 30 dated 25th March , 1967 , of the Government of India , Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance ) " shall be inserted at the end .
