New Delhi , the 9th April 1969
S.O. 1410. Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the death of Shri S. N. Maity , a member elected to that House from 30 -Midnapore Parliamentary Constituency in the State of West Bengal ;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the pre visions of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 149 of the Representation of the People Act ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby calıs upon the said constituency to elect before the 15th May , 1969 , in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder , a person to fill the said vacancy.

S.O. 1411. In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby appoints , with respect to the bye -election to be held in 30 - Midnapore Parliamentary Constituency In the State of West Bengal in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / HP - WB/1 / 69 (1 ) , dated the 9th April , 1969 :-
(a) the 16th April , 1969 , as the last date for making nominations ;
(b) the 17th April , 1969 , as the date for the scrutiny of nominations;
(c) the 19th April , 1969 , as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures ;

(d) the 11th May , 1969 , as the date on which a poll shallif necessary , be taken; and
(e) the 15th May , 1969 , as the date before which the election shall be com- pleted.

S.O. 1412.- In pursuance of section 56 of the Representation of the People Act (43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 7.30 A.M. to 4.30 P.M. as the hours during which a poll shall , if necessary , be taken for the election to the House of the People from 30 - Midnapore Parliamentary Constituency, to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / HP - WB / 1 / 69 ( 1 ) , dated the 9th April, 1960 .

एख ० ओ ० 1413.-यतः पश्चिमी बंगाल राज्य में के 30 -मिदनापुर संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से लोक सभा के लिए निर्वाचित संदस्य श्री एस ० एन ० मैत्री की मृत्यु हो जाने से लोक सभा में एक स्थान रिक्त हो गया है ;
अतः, अब, लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 149 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन अयोग उक्त निर्वाचा क्षेत्र से एतदद्वारा अपक्षा करता है कि वे ऐसे हुई रिक्त की भरने के लिए 15 मई , 1969 से पूर्व , उक्त अधिनियम के और तद्धीन बनाए गए नियमों और श्रादेशों के उपबन्धीं के अनुसार एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचित कर दें ।

एस ० प्रो० 1414. लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 का 43 की धारा 30 के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100 /लो ० स०/५० ब ०/ 1/ 69 ( 1 ) , तारीख 9 अप्रैल , 1969 के अनुसरण में पम्चिमी बंगाल राज्य में के 30 मिवनापुर संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से होने वाले उप - निर्वाचन के बारे में--
( क ) नामनिर्देशन करने के लिए अन्तिम तारीख - 16 अप्रैल , 1969 ;
(ख) नामनिर्देशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख- 17 अप्रैल, 1969 ;
( ग) अभ्यर्थिता वापस लेने की अन्तिम तारीख - 19 अप्रैल , 1969;
(च ) बह तारीख जिसको यदि श्रावश्यक हो , तो मतदान होगा 1 मई, 1969;
(छ) वह तारीख जिसके पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर दिया जाएगा -15 मई, 1969 स्वद्वारा नियत करता है ।

एस ० श्रो० 1415.-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम 1951 का 43 की धारा 56 के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/लो ० स०-५० ब ०/ 1/ 69 ( 1) , तारीख19 अप्रैल, 1969 के अनुसरण में 30 मिवनापुर संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से लोक सभा के लिए होने वाले निर्वाचन के लिए 7-30 बजे पूर्वाह्न से 4-30 बजे अपराल तक का समय उस समय के रूप में एभद्वारा नियत करता है जिसके दौरान यदि आवश्यक हो तो, भतदान होगा ।
