CENTRAL EXCISE

New Delhi, the 24th April 1969

G.S.R. 1037.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (I) of rule 8 of

the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the follow-

ing amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of

Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 33/89-Central Excises, dated

the 1st March, 1969, namely:—

In the said notification, In the Schedule, for Item No. 9, the following item shall

be substituted, namely: —

"9. Geysers and water heaters, all types, but excluding immersion heaters;"
