S.O. 1721.—In pursuance of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the following declaration containing the name of the candidate elected to fill the vacancy in the Council of States is published for general information :—
DECLARATION Bye-Election to the Council of States by the Elected Members of the Legislative Assembly of Madhya Pradesh
"In pursuance of the provisions contained In section 66 of the Representation of the People Act, 1051, read with the clause (a) of sub-rule (1) of rule 84 of the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, I declare that Shri Sawaisingh Mohabbat Singh, Barnagar, District Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) has been duly elected to fill the vacancy caused in that House by the death of Dr. Khubehand Baghel.
