NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 1st May 1969
S.O. 1725. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection ) Act , 1963 ( 22 of 1963 ) , and after previous publication as required by sub - rule ( 2 ) of rule 11 of the Export ( Quality Con- trol and Inspection ) Rules , 1964 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 771 , dated the 6th March , 1965 , namely :-
In the said notification , for sub - paragraph ( 4 ) of the first paragraph , the following sub - paragraph shall be substituted , namely :-
" (4 ) prohibits the export in the course of international trade of fish and fish products unless the same is accompanied by a certificate issued by any one of the Export Inspection Agencies established at Calcutta , Bombay , Delhi , Madras and Cochin under section 7 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection ) Act , 1963 ( 22 of 1963 ) , to the effect that fish and fish products conform to the specifications as set out in the sald Annexure . "
This notification shall come into force on 1st May . 1969 .
