NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 1st May 1969
S.O. 1726. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Export ( Quality Control and Inspection ) Act , 1963 ( 22 of 1963 ) and after previous publication as required by sub - rule ( 2 ) of rule 11 of the Export ( Quality Control and Inspection ) Rules , 1964. the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 491 , dated the 11th February , 1966 , namely : -
In the said notification , for sub - paragraph ( 4 ) of the first paragraph , the following sub- paragraph shall be substituted , namely :-
" (4) prohibits the export in the course of international trade of frog legs unless the same is accompanied by a certificate issued by any one of the Export Inspection Agencies established at Calcutta , Bombay , Delhi . Madras and Cochin under section 7 of the Export ( Quality Control and Inspection ) Act , 1963 ( 22 of 1963 ) , to the effect that frog legs conform to the specifications as set out in the said Schedule ."
This notification shall come into force on Ist May , 1969
