New Delhi , the 27th August 1969
G.S.R. 2094.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 19 of the Rice Milling Industry ( Regulation) Act , 1958 ( 21 of 1958 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the powers conferred on it by Section 5 of the said Act shall , in relation to the rice- mills in the State of Gujarat , be exercisable also by the District Magistrates in districts within their respective jurisdiction , and by the Food Controller, in the city of Ahmedabad .
