S.O. 3479.—In pursuance of the provisions of section 12 of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Elections Act, 1952 (31 of 1952), the following declaration containing the name of the person elected to the office of Vice-President of India is published lor general Information:—
"DECLARATION
In pursuance of the provision contained in section 11 of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Elections Act, 1952 (31 of 1952), read with rule 32 of the Presi- dential and Vice-Presidential Elections Rules, 1952, I, B. N. Banerjee, the Return- ing Officer for the Vice-Presidential Election, hereby declare that Shri G. S. Pathak, 16/19 Thornhill Road, Allahabad has been duly elected to the office of Vice- President of India.
