IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 11th September 1969
SUBJECT -Conversion of Actual User licences for raw materials , components , spares and non - ferrous metals for importing steel and vice - versa-- Amendment to paragraph 85 of the Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules & Procedure , 1969 .
No. 150 - ITC ( PN ) /69.-Attention is invited to paragraph 85 of the Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure , 1969 which provides a flexi- bility to Actual Users in the utilisation of import licences for raw materials , com- ponents , spares , non - ferrous metals and steel issued against free foreign ex- change.
2. It has been decided to insert the following sub -item after the existing sub- item ( b ) under sub - paragraph 85 ( 1 ) ( it) of the aforesaid paragraph 85 of the Hand Book : -
" ( c) The import of milk powder , man - made fibre and yarn ( cellulose and non-cellulose) , polyethylene. P.V.C. resin and cellulose acetate buty- rate moulding powder, will not be permitted under this facility. "
3. Paragraph 85 of the Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Pro- cedure , 1969 may be deemed to have been amended accordingly
