SUBJECT:—Import Policy for Registered Exporters for the year April 1969—March 1970 (Amendment No. 38)

No. 155-ITC(PN)/69.—Attention is invited to the Import Policy for Registered Exporters contained in Volume II of the Import Trade Control Policy Book (Red Book) for the year April 1969—Mareh 1970. issued under the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Supply Public Notice No. 44-ITC(PN)/69, dated the 31st March 1969.

The following items are classifiable under the product groups mentioned below and fall under the respective serial numbers shown against each:—

A. Engineering Goods:

1. Gilasia, Brass (small tumbler) A.66.7 2. Gllasia, copper (small tumbler) A.66.10H Handicrafts: 1. Gilasia, engraved/carved or with artistic touch H.I 2. The above items may bo inserted alphabetically at the appropriate places in the Index of the above Red Book under the relevant product Groups. (797)

(i) The entry, 'Aluminium Windows A.61.2' appearing on page v may be amended to read as 'Aluminium windows, all types, including alu- minium windows for buses and trucks A.61.2'.

(ii) The entry 'Gilasia (small tumbler of non-ferrous metal) A-66-2 classified through Public Notice No. 76-ITC(PN)/69 dated 28th May 1969 be de- leted-

(iil) The entry 'Windows for buses and trucks A.136.3' appearing on page lvlii may be amended to read as 'Windows for buses and trucks (excluding aluminium windows) A.136.3'

NOTE: The above amendments are applicable in respect of exports effected on or after the date of Issue of this Public Notice.

SUBJECT .- —Amendment to the Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure 1969—Registering Authority, (.Amendment No. 39).

No. 156-ITC(PN)/69.—Attention is invited to Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure 1969, published under the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Supply Public Notice No. 63-ITC(PN)/69, dated 29th April 1969,

2- In para 112(l)(c), after entry (c) on page 82 of the above Hand Book, the following entry may be inserted: —

"(d) Invoice certified by a Chartered Accountant."
