Bye- election to the Council of States by the elected members of the Legis- lative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh .
"In pursuance of the provisions contained in section 66 of the Representa- tion of the People Act , 1951 , read with clause ( a ) of sub- rule ( 1 ) of rule 84 of the Conduct of Elections Rules , 1961 , I declare that , Sri Jagdish Chand of Jagdish Bhawan , Sarojni Devi Lane , Maqboolganj , Lucknow has been duly electedected to fill the vacancy causedaused in that House by the death of Sri Ram Singh .

सां० प्रा ० 3976.--लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 67 के अनुत्तरण में, राज्य सभा में रिक्ति को भरने के लिये निर्वाचित उम्मीदवार का नाम समाहित करती हुई, निम्नलिखित घोषणा सामान्य सूचना के लिये प्रकाशित की जाती है : --

"निर्वाचन संचालन नियम , 1961 के नियम 11 के उप - नियम ( 1 ) के साथ पठित , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 की धारा 53 की उपधारा ( 2 ) में समाविष्ट उपबंधों के अनुसरण में , मैं घोषित करता हूं कि थिरु एस ० एस ० वासन के निधन से उस सभा में हुई रिक्ति को भरने के लिये -

सा० प्रा ० 3977.-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 67 के अनुसरण में राज्यसभा में रिक्ति को भरने के लिये निर्वाचित उम्मीदवार का नाम समाहित करती हुई निम्नलिखित घोषणा सामान्य सूचना के लिए प्रकाशित की जाती है :--

उत्तर प्रदेश विधान सभा के निर्वाचित सवस्यों द्वारा राज्य-सभा का उप- चुनाव
निर्वाचन संचालन नियम, 1961 के नियम 84 के उप- नियम ( 1 ) ( क ) के साथ पठित , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 की धारा 66 में समाविष्ट उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में , मैं घोषित करता हूं कि श्री राम सिंह के निधन से उस सभा में हुई रिक्ति को भरने के लिए जगदीश भवन , सरोजनी देवी लेन , भकबूलगंज लखनऊ ( पता ) के श्री जगदीश चन्व को विधि वत् निर्वाचित कर लिया गया है ।
