NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 26th. September 1969

S.O. 4038.—Whereas the Central Government is of opinion that, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act, 108a (22 of 1963), it is necessary or expedient so to do for the development of the export trade of India that Alumino Ferric, an inorganic chemical, should be subject to quality control and Inspection prior to export and for that purpose to amend the notification of the Government of India in the. late Ministry oil Commerce S.O. No. 1270, dated the 25th March, 1966, in the manner specified below:

And whereas the Central Government has forwarded the proposal In that behalf to the Export Inspection Council, as required by sub-rule (2) of rule 11 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Rules, 1964;

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said sub-rule the Central Government hereby publishes the said proposal for the information of the public likely to be affected thereby.

S.O. No. 1270, dated the 25th March, 1966, shall be amended as Hollows, namely:—

In the Schedule to the said notification, after Serial No. 15 and the entry re-

lating thereto the following shall be added, namely:—

"16. Alumlno Ferric".
