NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 25th October 1969
S.O. 4328/ IDRA/ 15/ 69 .-- Whereas the Central Government is of opinion that there is likely to be a substsubstantial fa'l in the volume of production in respect of sugar manufactured in the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Ram Luxman Sugar Mills , Mohiuddinpur , District Meerut , for which , having regard to the economic conditions prevailing in the country , there is no justification ;
And whereas the Central Government is further of opinion that the said industrial undertaking is being managed in a manner highly detrimental to the sugar industry and to public interest ;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Industries ( Development and Regulation ) Act , 1951 (65 of 1951 ) , the Central Government hereby appoints , for the purpose of making a full and complete investigation into the circumstances of the case , a body of persons consisting of the following persons , namely :-
(1 ) Shri N. S. Jain, Director (Sugar Technical ) , Directorate of Sugar and Vanaspati , Ministry of Food , Agriculture , Community Development and Cooperation ( Department of Food ) , New Delhi ; and
(2 ) Shri L. K. Nagar , Cane Commissioner , Government of Uttar Pradesh , Lucknow.
