S.O. 4711.—Whereas I.F.G.T. Menezes, have been authorised by 1he Vege- table Oil Products Controller for India under sub-clause (a) of clause 2 of the Vegetable Oil Products Control Order, 1947, to exercise the powers of the Cont- roller under the said Order;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (1) of clause 6 of the Vegetable Oil Products Control Order, 1947, read with the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Food and Agri- culture No. G.S.R. 882, dated the 24th September, 1958, and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and Cooperation (Department Of Food) No. S.O. 4627, dated the 7th November, 1969, I hereby fix, with the prior concurrence of the Central Government, the maximum prices at which vegetable oil products may ( 1 4 6 3) 1464 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC, 3(li)] }?JPld i !i £e v a W o us z⁰¹¹⁶⁸ specified below with effect from the 23rd November, 19S9, as follows:— ' Zone 'A' Zone 'B'

(2) The price limits specified above are inclusive of exise duty and freight, but exclusive of sales tax, octroi, terminal tax and similar other local taxes.

Explanation: In this notification,—

(i) "retailer" means a dealer who sells not more than 16.5 kilogrammes of

vegetable oil product to any one consumer at a time.

(il) "wholesaler" means a dealer who sells vegetable oil product,

(a) to a retailer in any quantity, or (b) to a consumer exceeding 16.5 kilogrammes at a time.
