RESOLUTION
New Delhi, the 6th December 1969
SUBJECT.—Awards for Public Recognition of outstanding Export Performance.
No. ll(8)/66-EAC.—The following amendment may be made In the Govern- ment of India, late Ministry of Commerce Resolution on the above subject, pub- lished in part I Section I of the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated November 23, 196B as amended.
1. In the title and in para 6 of the Resolution, for the Word "Commerce", the
words "Foreign Trade" may be substituted.
2. For the existing paragraphs 4 and 5 of the Resolution, the following
may be substituted, namely: —
"4. in addition to the Awards referred to above, Certificates of Merit will be issued for the best exporter in different groups of export pro- ducts, from amongst registered members of Export Promotion Councils and Commodity Boards, provided that no such Certificates may be issued in the case of any commodity group in any particular year, in the discretion of the Selection Committee.
5. A Selection Committee consisting of the under mentioned will make recommendations for the Awards and Certificates, to the Minister of Foreign Trade:—
1 A judge or retired judge of the Supreme Court or a High Court.

Ordered that the Resolution be published in the Gazette of India and a copy thereof communicated to all concerned.
