NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 9th December 1969
S.O. 4921. In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 12 and 35 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act , 1940 ( 23 of 1940 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the fol'owing rules further to amend the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules , 1945, the same having been previously published as required by the said sections , namely: --- 1. ( i ) These rules may be called the Drugs and Cosmetics ( ' Sixth Amend- ment' ) Rules , 1969 .
( ii ) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette.
2. In the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules , 1945. in rule 65. in sub- paragraph ( c ) of paragraph ( ii ) of the Explanation to Clause ( 15 ) , for the words, figures and letters "the 30th September , 1969 " , the following words , figures and letters shall be subs- tituted , namely : -
"the 31st December , 1969 " .
