8.O. 5051. Whereas I, G. T. Menezes , have been authorised by the Vegetable Oil Products Controller for India under sub- clause ( a ) of clause 2 of the Vegetable Oil Products Control Order , 1947, to exercise the powers of the Controller under the said Order;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause ( 1) of clause 6 of the Vegetable Oil Products Control Order , 1947 , read with the notification of the Govern- ment of India in the late Ministry of Food and Agriculture No. G.S.R. 882 dated the 24th September , 1958 , and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India In the Ministry of Food , Agriculture , Community Development and Cooperation (Department of Food) No. SO . 4711 dated the 21st November , 1969 , I hereby fix , with the prior concurrence of the Central Government, the maximum prices at which vegetable

(3) The pricelimits for sale by wholesaler and by retailer specified above are irclusive offreight and excise duty , but exclusive of sales tax , octroi , terminal tax and similar other local taxes .

EXPLANATION : In this notification,
(i ) " retailer" means a dealer who sells not more than 16-5 kilogrammes of vegetable oil product to any one consumer at a time .
[ ( ii) " wholesaler " means a dealer who sells vegatable oil product,
(a) to a retailer in any quantity , or
(b) to a consumer exceeding 16.5 kilogramme at a time .
