NOTIFICATION

CENTRAL EXCISES

New Delhi, the 31st December 1969

G.S.R. 2807.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following farther amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 136/66-Central Excises, dated the 23rd August, 1966, namely:—

In the said notification—

0) In the first paragraph, for the letters and figures "Rs. 37.10", the letters and figures "Rs. 70" shall be substituted; and

(ii) in paragraph 2, for the expression "31st December, 1969", the expression "31st March, 1970" shall be substituted.

2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st January, 1970.
