New Delhi , the 14th January 1970
S.O. 228. Whereas the Government of Maharashtra have intimated certain alterations in the names and boundaries of the territorial divisions comprised within certain constituencies mentioned in Part B in Schedule X to the Delimi- tation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order , 1966 and specified below;
And whereas the Election Commission considers it necessary to make amend- ments in the description of the constituencies so as to bring the Order up - to - date ;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( b ) of sub- section ( 1 ) of section 9 of the Representation of the People Act , 1950 , the Election Commission hereby makes the amendments in the said Order as follows :-
1. In Part B Assembly Constituencies-
( 1) in 123 - Nagpur North ( SC ) , in the description of the extent of consti- tuency, for the existing entry substitute the entry,-
"The wards and areas of wards of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation speci- fled below: -
(a) wards 41 to 43 , 45 and 47 to 59 ; ( b ) the areas of
