G.8.R. 182.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Assam Reorganisation (Meghalaya) Act, 1969 (55 of I960), the Central Government hereby appoints the 30th day of January, 1970, as the date on which the provisions of sections 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 28, 29, 62, 73 and 77 of the said Act shall come into force.
