ORDER
New Delhi , the 4th February 1970
G.S.R. 218. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby rescinds the Andhra Pradesh Rice and Paddy ( Restriction on Movement ) Order , 1965 , published with the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Food and Agriculture ( Department of Food ) No. G.S.R. 93 , clated the 11th January , 1965 :
Provided that such rescission shall not affect-
(a) the previous operation of the said Order of anything duly done or suffered thereunder ; or
(b) any right , privilege , obligation or liability acquired , accrued or incurred under the said Order ; or
(c) any penalty , forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against the sald Order; or
(d) any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any such or punish- right, privilege, obligation , liability , penalty , fcrfeiture ment as aforesaid;
and any such investigation , legal proceeding or remedy may be instituted , continued or enforced and any such penalty , forfeiture or punishment may be imposed as if the said Order had not been rescinded .
