New Delhi , the 4th February 1970
S.O. 474. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Commis- sions of Inquiry Act , 1952 ( 60 of 1952 ) , the Central Government hereby extends upto 31st May 1970, the period within which the Commission of Inquiry appointed by the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs by notification No. S.O. 3960 , published at pages 1713 and 1714 of Part II , Section 3 , Sub - section ( 11 ) of the Gazette of India , Extraordinary , dated the 1st November , 1967 , shall make its report to the Central Government .
