NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th January 1970
S.O. 230.—The Central Government having considered in consultation with the Forward Markets Commission, the application for renewal of recognition made under Section 5 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952 (74 of 1952), by the Pepper and Ginger Merchants' Association Ltd., Bombay and being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also In the public inter- eat so to do hereby grants, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of the said Act, recognition to the said Association for a period of one year ending 18th January, 1971, in respect of forward contracts in pepper within the limits of Greater Bombay as defined in the Bombay General Clauses Act, 1904 (Bombay Act 1 of 1904), as in force in the State of Maharashtra.
The recognition hereby granted is subject to the condition that the said Association shall comply with such conditions as may from time to time be given by the Forward Markets Commission.
