G.S.R. 312.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 62 of the Assam Reorganisation (Meghalaya) Act, 1969 (55 of 1969) the President, after consultation with the Election Commission, hereby determined that the number of persons, which the electoral college of each of the autonomous districts specified in column (1) of the Table below shall elect to the Provisional Legislative Assembly of Meghalaya, shall be as that specified in the corresponds entry in column (2) thereof.
