New Delhi , the 28th February 1970
S.O. 830.- Whereas the President has by notification published in the Gazette of India, on the 28th February , 1970 , called upon the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of Madhya Pradesh to elect six members to the Council of States;
Now , therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 39 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 , the Election Commission hereby appoints with respect to the said election-
(a) the 7th March , 1970 ( Saturday ) , as the last date for making nomina- tions;
(b) the 9th March , 1970 ( Monday ) , as the date for the scrutiny of nomina- tions;
(c) the 11th March , 1970 ( Wednesday ) , as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures ;
(d) the 18th March , 1970 ( Wednesday ) , as the date on which a poll shall , if necessary , be taken ; and
(e) the 21st March , 1970 ( Saturday ) , as the date before which the election shall be completed .

एल ० ओ ० 830 : -यतः राष्ट्रपति ने भारत के राजपत्त्र में तारीख 28 फरवरी , 1970 को प्रकाशित अधिसूचना द्वारा मध्य प्रदेश विधान सभा के निर्वाचि 28 सदस्यों से यह अपेक्षा की है कि वे राज्य सभा के लिए छह सदस्य निर्वाचित करें ;
अतः , अब, लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 की धारा 39 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारत निर्वाचन आयोग उक्त निर्वाचन के बारे में: -
(क) नामनिर्देशन करने के लिए अन्तिम तारीख 7 मार्च , 1970 ( शनिवार)
(ख ) नामनिर्देशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख
9 मार्च , 1970 ( सोमवार)
( ग) अभ्यर्थताएं वापस लेने की अन्तिम तारीख
11 मार्च, 1970 ( बुधवार )
18 मार्च, 1970 ( बुधवार) ( घ ) वह तारीख जिसको यदि आवश्यक हो , तो मतदान होगा तथा
21मार्च , 1970 ( शनिवार) ( ङ) वह तारीख जिसके पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर दिया जाएगा

S.O. 831. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Represen- tation of the People Act , 1951 , the Election Commission , in consultation with the Government of Madhya Pradesh , hereby designates the Secretary , Madhya Pra- desh Vidhan Sabha , to be the Returning Officer for the biennial election to the Council of States , to be held in the State of Madhya Pradesh in pursuance of the President's notification published in the Gazette of India on the 28th February , 1970;

एस ० ओ ० 831 : -लोक 1951 की धारा प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 21 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए निर्वाचन आयोग , मध्य प्रदेश सरकार के परामर्श से , भारत के राजपत्न में तारीख 28 फरवरी , 1970 को प्रकाशित राष्ट्रपति की अधिसूचना के अनुसरण में मध्य प्रदेश राज्य में राज्य सभा के लिए होने वाले द्विवार्षिक निर्वाचन के लिए मध्य प्रदेश विधान सभा के सचिव को रिटर्निग आफिसर के रूम में एतद्वारा पदामिहित करता है ।

S.O. 832. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 22 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , the Election Commission hereby appoints the Deputy Secretary , Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha, to assist the Returning Officer for the biennial election to the Council of States to be held in the State of Madhya Pradesh in pursuance of the President's notification , pub- lished in the Gazette of India on the 28th February , 1970 , in the performance of his functions .

एस ० श्रो० 382 :-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 की धारा 22 की उप धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए निर्वाचन आयोग भारत के राजपत्र में तारीख 28 फरवरी , 1970 को प्रकाशित राष्ट्रपति की अधिसूचना के अनुसरण में मध्य प्रदेश राज्य में राज्य सभा के लिए होने वाले द्विवार्षिक निर्वाचन के लिए रिटर्निग आफिसर को उसके कृत्यों के पालन में सहायता करने के लिए मध्य प्रदेश विधान सभा के उप - सचिव की एतदृद्वारा नियुक्ति करता है ।

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 56 of the Represen- tation of the People Act , 1951 , the Election Commission hereby fixes 10-00 Α.Μ. to 4-00 P.M. , as the hours during which the poll shall , if necessary , be taken at the biennial election to the Council of States in the State of Madhya Pradesh to be held in pursuance of the President's notification published in the Gazette of India, on the 28th February , 1970 .

एस ० श्रो ० 833: लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 की धारा 56 द्वारा प्रदक्ष प्राविसमो का प्रयोग करते हुए निर्वाचन आयोग , भारत के राजपत्र में तारीख 28 फरवरी , 1970 को प्रकामिल राष्ट्रपति की अधिसूचना के अनुसरण में मध्य प्रदेश राज्य में राज्य सभा के लिए होने वाले द्विवार्षिक निर्वाचन के लिए 10 बजे पूर्वाल से 4 बजे अपराह्न तक का समय उस समय के रूप में एसदद्वारा नियत करता है जिसके दौरान यदि आवश्यक हो तो, मतदान होगा ।
