SO. 834.—In pursuance of section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the President is pleased to call upon the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Madhya Pradesh to elect, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and the rules and orders made thereunder, six members to fill the seats of members of the Council of States who are retiring on the 2nd April, 1970, on the expiration of their term of office.
