NOTIFICATIONS

New Delhi, the 16th March 1070

S.O. 1092.—In pursuance of clause 4 of the Synthetic Rubber (Price Control) Order, 1969, the Central Government, hereby, makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Petroleum and Chemicals and Mines and Metals (Department of Petroleum and Chemicals), No. S.O. 4923, dated the 16th December, 1969, namely: —

In the said notification, the following Note shall be inserted at the end, namely: —

"NOTE—The above prices are exclusive of excise duty and other levies".

S.O. 1093.—In pursuance of clause 8 of the Synthetic Rubbe (Price Control) Order, 1969. the Central Government, hereby, authorises each of the following officers of the respective State Governments and of the Union Territories to exer- cise the powers under the said clause, namely: —

1. Commissioner of Excise. 2. Deputy Commissioner of Excise. 3. Collectors and District Revenue Officers of Districts. 4. Assistant Commissioner of Excise. 5. Revenue Divisional Officers. (377) 378 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC3(U)]

6. Tehslldars and Deputy Tehsildars. 7. Superintendent of Excise. 8. Assistant Excise Superintendent. 9. Assistant District Excise Officers.

ORDER

New Delhi, the 16th MaTch 1970

S.O. 1094.—In exercise Qf the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1953 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the following order to amend th" Synthetic Rubber (Price Control) Order, 1989, namely: —

1. (1) This Order may be called the Synthetic Rubber (Price Control) Amend- ment Order, 1970.

(2) It shall come Into force at once.

2. In clause 4 of the Synthetic Rubber (Price Control) Order, 1969, the words "provided that the said sale price shall be exclusive of excise duty and other levies" unall be Inserted at the end.
