CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi , the 25th March 1970
G.S.R. 515. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 105 /69 - Central Excises , dated the 3rd April , 1969 , namely :-
In the said notification--
March, (1) for the letters , figures and words " No. 22 / 69 - Central Excises , dated the 1st March, 1969" , the letters , figures and words " No. 17 / 70 - Central Excises , dated 1st 1970" shall be substituted;
(2) the following further proviso shall be inserted at the end , namely:-
"Provided further that a manufacturer shall be permitted to clear for home consump- tion during the month of March , 1970 , prepared or preserved foods , namely :-
(i) tomato puree and tomato paste;
(ii) mango nectar ;
(iii) vegetable juice ;
(iv) ginger cocktail , ginger beer , ginger ale:
( 2) synthetic syrups and sharbats ; and

(vi) ready -to-serve beverages other than those containing ten per cott er mere of fruit juice or fruit pulp ,
upto a value not exceeding rupees five thousand , subject to the conditiors that the value of prepared or preserved foods specified in the Schedule anrexed to the noti- fication referred to in the preceding proviso and cleared by or on behalf of such manufacturer from one or more factories for home corsumption curorgthe firencial year 1969-70 at nil rate of duty does not exceed Rs . 50, cco".

सा० का० ति ० 515:-केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियम , 1944 के नियम 8 के उपनियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व भौर बीमा विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं ० 105/ 69 -केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क तारीख 3 अप्रैल , 1969 में पतवद्वारा निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्ः-
उक्त अधिसूचना में:--
(1) ' से० 22/69 केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क , तारीख 1 मार्च, 1969 " शब्दों भौर भंकों के स्थान पर " सं ० 17 / 70-केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क, तारीख 1 मार्च , 1970 " शब्द और अंक प्रतिस्थापित किए जाएंगे ;
( 2 ) अन्त में निम्नलिखित एक मौर परन्तुक अन्तः स्थापित किया जाएगा , अर्थात्ः
"परन्तु यह और भी कि विनिर्माता को निम्नलिखित तैयार था परिरक्षित खात्रों की अर्थात्ः--
( i) टमाटर पूरी और टमाटर पेस्ट की ;
( ii ) आम्म्र मकरंद की ;
( iii) सब्जियों के रस की ;
( iv ) जिंजर कांकटेल जिंजर बीधर , जिंजर एल की ;:
( V) संश्लिष्ट सिरप और शरबत की और
( vi ) परोसे जाने के लिए तैयार ऐसे पेघों की , जो उन पेयों से भिन्न होंजिन में दस प्रतिशत या उससे अधिक फल -रस या फल-गूवा होता हो ;

गृह उपभोग के लिए मार्च , 1970 के मास में पांच हजार रुपये से अनधिक तफ के मूल्य की निकासी करने की अनुशा इस शर्त के अध्यधीन रहते हुए दी जाएगी कि पूर्वगामी परन्तुक में निर्दिष्ट अधिसूचना से उपाबद्ध अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट तैयार अथवा परिरक्षिन बाद्यों का मूल्य जो गृह उपभोग के लिए वित्तीय वर्ष 1969-70 के दौरान एक या अधिक कारखानों से ऐसे विनिर्माता द्वारा या उसकी ओर से शुल्क की शून्य दर पर निकासी किए गए हैं , पचास हजार रुपये से अधिक न हो ।
