New Delhi , the 26th March 1970
S.O. 1195.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2 ) of section 8 of the Jayanti Shipping Company ( Taking over of Management ) Act , 1966 ( 240 1966) and in continuation of previous notifications , the Central Government hereby specifies that the Companies Act , 1956 ( 1 of 1956 ) shall apply to the Jayanti Shipping Company Limited, subject to the following further exception , namely: - Section 324A, of the Companies Act, 1956 , shall not apply to the said Shipping Company.
