New Delhi , the 3rd April 1970
S.O. 1365. Whereas the Government of Kerala have intimated certain altera- tions in the names and boundaries of the territorial divisions comprised within certain constituencies mentioned in Part B of Schedule VII to the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order 1966 and specified below:
And whereas the numbers assigned to the assembly constituencies comprised in some of the parliamentary constituencies mentioned in Part A of the above Sche- dule require alteration;
And whereas the Election Commission considers it necessary to make amend- ments in the description of the constituencies so as to bring the Order up-to- date; Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( b ) of sub - section ( 1) of section 9 of the Representation of the People Act , 1950 , the Election Com- mission hereby makes the amendments in the said order as follows: -
I. In Part A- Parliamentary constituencies-
