S.O. 1625. Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the death of Shrii JaipalJaipal Singh,Singh, a member elected to that House from 61 -Khunti ( ST ) Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Bihar;
Now, therefore , in pursuance of the provisions of section 149 of the Representa- tion of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect before the 5th June 1970 , in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder, a person belonging to the Scheduled Tribes of Bihar to fill the said vacancy.

एस ० प्रो० 1625.-यतः बिहार राज्य के 51-खूंटी ( म ० ज ० जा० ) संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र सेलोक सभा के लिए निर्वाचित सदस्य श्री जयपाल सिंह की मुत्यु हो आने के कारण उस सदन में एक स्थान रिक्त हो गया है;

श्रतः , अब , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43) की धारा 149 के उप- बम्धों के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग उक्त निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से एतद्वारा अपेक्षा करता है कि वह ऐसे हुई रिक्ति को भरने के लिए 5 जून , 1970 से पूर्व , उक्त अधिनियम के और तद्धीन बनाए गए नियमों और भादेशों के उपबन्धों के अनुसार एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचित कर दें ।

8.0. 1626.In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representa- tion of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951) , the Election Commission hereby appoints with respect to the bye - election to be held in 51 - Khunti ( ST ) Parlia- mentary constituency in the State of Bihar in pursuance of its notification No. 100/BR - HP/ 1 /70 ( 1 ) , dated the 1st May, 1970-
(a) the 8th May , 1970 ( Friday) , as the last date for making nominations:
(b) the 9th May , 1970 ( Saturday) , as the date for the scrutiny of nomi- nations:
(c) the 11th May , 1970 ( Monday ) , as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures :
(d) the 31st May , 1970 ( Sunday) , as the date on which a poll shall, if necessary , be taken ; and
(e) the 5th June , 1970 ( Friday ) , as the date before which the election shall be completed .

एस ० ओ ० 1626.-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 30 के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100 /बिहार - लो ० स ० / 1 / 70 (1) , तारीख 1 मई , 1970 के अनुसरण में बिहार राज्य में के 51 -बूंटी ( अ ० ज ० जा ० ) संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से होने वाल उप - निर्वाचन के बार में--
8 मई, 1970 ( शुक्रवार) ;
(क ) नामनिर्देशन करने के लिए अन्तिम तारीख
9 मई, 1970 (शनिवार) ;
(ख) नामनिर्देशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख
11 मई, 1970 ( सोमवार) ;
(ग) अभ्यथिता वापस लेने की अन्तिम तारी
31 मई , 1970 ( रविवार) ; तथा ( घ) वह तारीख जिसको यदि आवश्यक हो तो मतदान होगा
5 जून, 1970 ( शुक्रवार) ( ङ ) वह तारीख जिसके पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर दिया आएगा
एतद्वारा नियत करता है ।

S.O. 1627.-In pursuance of section 56 of the Representation of the People Act . 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 7.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. as the hours during which a poll shall , if necessary , be taken for the election to the House of the People from 51 - Khunti ( ST ) Parliamentary Constituency , to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100/BR - HP/1 / 70 ( 1 ) , dated the 1st May , 1970.

एस ० श्रो ० 1627.-लोकप्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 56 के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/ बिहार - लो ० स ०/ 1/ 70 ( 1 ) , तारीख 1 मई , 1970 के अनुसरण में लोक सभा के लिए 51 -खूंटी ( अ ० ज ० जा० ) संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से होने वाले निर्वाचन के लिए 7.30 बजे पूर्वाह्न से 4.30 बजे अपराह्न तक का समय उस समय के रूप में एतद्वारा नियत करता है जिसके दौरान यदि आवश्यक हो तो , मतदान होगा ।
