New Delhi, 5th May 1970
G.S.R. 774.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Indian Telegraphs Act, 1885 ( 13 of 1885 ), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Telegraph Rules , 1951 , namely-
1. (1 ) These rules may be called the Indian Telegraph ( seventh amendment) Rules , 1970.
(2) They shall come into force on the 15th May, 1970 .

2. In the Indian Telegraph Rules , 1951 , in rule 434 , in Section III relating to " Scale of charges for departmental exchange connections " , in clause ( i ) relating to connections within the local area , for the existing Table under " (a) Measured rate system" the following Table shall be substituted, namely
"Exchanges
Rates of quarterly rental and call fees .
Rental Fees for the first 150 local callsduring thequarter .
Fees per local call for the next 600 calls during the quarter.
Fees per local call for calls beyond 750 calls during the quarter .

नई दिल्ली 5 मई , 1970
सा० का ० ति० 774-- भारतीय तार अधिनियम , 1885 ( 1885 का 13 ) की धारा 7 द्वारा प्रदत्तशक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार भारतीय तार नियम , 1951 में और आगे संशोधन करने के लिए एस्वद्वारा निम्नलिखित नियम , बनाती है , अर्थात्:-
1 ( 1 ) ये नियम भारतीय तार ( सातवी संशोधन ) नियम , 1970 कहे जा सकेंगे ।
(2) ये 15 मई, 1970 को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।

2 भारतीय तार नियम 1951 में " विभागीय एक्सचेंज कनेक्शनों के लिए प्रभार का माप मान " से सम्बन्ध अनुभाग 3 में नियम 434 में , स्थानीय क्षेत्र के भीतर कनेक्शनों से सम्बन्ध खण्ड ( i) में ( क ) मापित दर पद्धति के नीचे विदेयमान सारक्षी प्रतिस्थापित की जाएगी , अर्थात्ः--
