G.S.R. 801.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 ,8, 21, 28, 29 34. 35, 43 and 74 of the Indian Post Office Act 1898 (6 of 1898) the Central Gov- ernment hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Post Office
1 (1) These rules may be called the Indian Post Office (Third Amendment )
Rules 1970
(2) They shall come into force on the 15th May, 1970.
2, In the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933:
(1) In rule 1, (a) in the entries under the heading "Book, pattern and sample packets" (b) in the entries under the heading "Parcels", for thefiguresandword

(3) in rule 66, in sub-rule (2), for the entries under the heading "SCHE- DULE OF FEES", the following entries shall be substituted namely:—
"Amount specified for recovery from Not exceeding Rs. 10 10 "aise the addressee. Exceeding Rs. 10 20 raise";
(4) in rule 98, for the entries under the heading "SCHEDULE OF FEES", the following entries shall be substituted, namely:—

(5) in rule 112, for sub-rule (1) excluding the proviso, the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:—
