New Delhi, the 1st September 1S70

S.O. 2874,—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Life insurance Corporation Act, 1956, (31 of 1956), the Central Government hereby Airect3 that with effect from the 1st September, 1970, the Life Insurance Corpora- tion of India shall consist of the following members:

1. Shri T. A. Pal, Chairman, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Bombay. 2. Dr. R. K. Hazari, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India, Bombay. 3. Shri A. Rajagopalan, Officer on Special Duty and Ex-Officio Joint Secre- tary to the Government of India, New Delhi.

4. Dr. K. K. Datey, Bombay. 5. Dr. P. V. Kurien, Kaira District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Limited, Anand.

6. Shrimati Asoka Gupta, Calcutta. 7. Syed Akbar Hussain, Patna. 8. Shri P. L. Tandon, Chartered Accountant, Kanpur. 9 Shri R. N. Tamta, Hari Niwas, Almora.
