NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 5th September 1970
G.S.R. 1313.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of rule 8 of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1957,. the Chairman, after consultation with the Ministry of Finance, hereby makes the following further amendments in the Second Schedule to those rules, namely: —
In the Second Schedule to the said Rules—
(1) under the heading "Class II—Gazetted", after the entries relating to item "10. Private Secretary to Secretary", the following entries shall be inserted, namely—
"10A. Assistant Editor—350—25— 500—30—590—EB—30—800.
(2) under the heading "Class II—Non-gazetted", the existing entries relating to item ''16. Assistant Editor" shall be deleted.
(3) under the heading "Class III", against item ''25. Translator", in column 3 showing the "Pay or scale of pay otherwise admissible", for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substi- tuted:—
"320—15—470—EB—15—530."
7l6 TUB GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PAKr II—SEC. 3(i)] G.S.R. 1314.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of rule # of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rbjfes, 1957, the Chairman, Rajya Sabha, hereby makes the following further amend- ments in the First Schedule to those rules, namely—(1) under the heading "Class II—Gazetted", after the entries relating to Item "11. Personal Assistant to Chairman", the following entry shall be inserted, namely—
"12, Assistant Editors."
(21 under the heading "Class II—Non-Gazetted", the existing entry relating to Item "13. Assistant Editors" shall be deleted.
(The amendments take effect from the 1st May, 1970.)
