New Delhi, the 11th September 1970
S.O. 3003.—In pursuance of the provisions of clause (a) of Sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Border Security Force Act, 1968 (47 of 1968) the Central Govern- ment hereby declares the duty by every person referred to in the said clause (a) serving in Tamilnadu for a period of six months with effect from 11th September, 1970 as active duty.
