ORDER

New Delhi, the 15th September 1970

S.O. 3116.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce and Industry No. S.O. 2245, dated the 16th September, 1961, read with the Orders of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 2734, dated the 5th September, 1966, No. S.O. 3246, dated the 4th Septem- ber, 1968, and in the late Ministry of Foreign Trade and Supply (Department of Foreign Trade) No. S.O. 3745, dated the 11th September, 1969, the management of the Industrial undertaking "known as Rai Saheb Rekhchand Gopaldas Mohta Spin- ning and Weaving Mills Private Ltd., Akola, (Maharashtra State) has been taken over by the Authorised Controller referred to In the Order first mentioned above, for a period up to and inclusive of the 15th September, 1970;

And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the management of the said industrial undertaking by the said Authorised Controller should continue for a further period up to and Inclusive of 15th September, 1972;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Sub-sec- tion (2) of Section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (66 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the Order first mentioned above shall continue to have effect for a further period up to and inclusive of the 15th September, 1972.

Further, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951). and in partial modification of the Order of the Government of India In the late Ministry of Commerce and Indus- try No. S.O. 2245, dated 15th September, 1961, and in supersession of the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 3683, dated the 6th October, 1967, the Central Government hereby authorises with effect from ( 1483 ) 1484 THE GAZETTE OP INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [fAAT It—Sec. 3(ii)]

the 15th September, 1970, the Maharashtra State Textile Corporation Limited to take over the management of the whole of Rai Saheb Rekhchand Gopaldas MoVita Spinning and Weaving Mills Private Ltd., Akola, vice Shri B. G. Damani.
