NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 19th September 1970 S. O.3177.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 and Sub-section (1) of Section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, and in supersession of all the previous noti- fications issued on this subject, the Election Commission hereby appoints, in respect of each of the Parliamentary Constituencies in the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh as determined by the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 1966, and specified in column 1 of the Table below:—

(a) the officer specified in the corresponding entry in column 2 of the said Table to be the

Returning Officer; and

(b) the officers specified in the corresponding entry in column 3 of the said Table to be the Assistant Returning Officers
