S.O. 3178.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of sec- tion 62 of the Assam Reorganisation (Meghalaya) Act, 1969 (55 of 1969), the Central Government hereby nominates to the Provisional Legislative Assembly of Meghalaya the following three persons to represent the minority communities of Assamese, Bengalese and Nepalese which, in the opinion of the Central Government, need representation in the Assembly, namely:—
1. Dr. H. C. Bhuyan. 2. Dr. S. C. Deb. 3. Shri Mon Bahadur Newar.
