New Delhi, the 29th September 1970
G.S.R. 1720-A.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 13 of the Central Sales Tax Act, 1956 (74 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Sales Tax (Registration and Turnover) Rules, 1957, namely : —
1. These rules may be called the Central Sales Tax (Registration and Turnover) (Amendment) Rules. 1970,
2. In the Central Sales Tax (Registration and Turnover) Rules, 1957, in the first proviso to sub-rule (1) of rule 12, for the figures, letters and word "30th September, 1970", the figures, letters and word "30th September, 1971" shall be substituted.
