New Delhi, the 5th October 1970 SUBJECT--—Import Policy for Registered Exporters for the year 1970—March. 1971 (Amendment No. 41).
No. 154-ITC(PN)/70 —Attention is invited to the Import Policy for registered Exporters contained in Volume II of the Import Trade Control Policy Book for the year April 1970—March, 1971, issued under the Ministry of Foreign Trade Public Notice No. 48(ITC) (PN)/70 dated the 31st March, 1970 as amended from time to time.
2. Reference is also invited to Public Notice No. 151-ITC(PN)/70 dated 26th September, 1970 under which amendments were made in the Import Policy for Registered Exporters of Gem and Jewellery items. Remark No- (1) in Column 5 inserted under the aforesaid Public Notice against the export product appear- ing at S. No. S. 2 may be substituted by the following: —
'Out of the total replenishment of 65 per cent of fob export value, regis- tered exporters may be allowed to import direct upto 90 per cent of the admissible replenishment and the remaining 10 per cent will be through release orders on NMDC. In the event of non-avail- ability a certificate from NMDC, the exporter may be allowed to, import direct to the extent of full value of the replenishment-'.
