NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 5th October 1970
S.O. 3274.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act, 1963 (22 of 1963), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Export of Footwear (Inspection) Rules, 1967, published in the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 2385, dated the 17th July, 1967, namely:—
1. These rules may be called the Export of Footwear (Inspection) (Amend- ment) Rules, 1970.
2. In the Export of Footwear (Inspection) Rules, 1967, for rule 6, the follow- ing rule shall be substituted, namely:—
"6. Inspection fee.—Subject to a minimum of rupees ten, a fee at the rate of thirty paise for every one hundred rupees or fraction thereof of the F.O.B, value of every consignment produced for inspection at one time and at one place under these rules shall be paid by the exporter to the Agency as Inspection fee."
