NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 6th October 1970
8.O. 3275.- Whereas the Central Government is of opinion , that , in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Export ( Quality Control and Inspec- tion ) Act, 1963 ( 22 of 1963 ) ,itis necessary or expedient to amend the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 1608 , dated the 3rd May , 1968 , in the manner specified below for the development of the export trade of India;
And whereas the Central Government has formulated the proposals specifled below for the said purpose and has forwarded the proposals in that behalf to the Export Inspection Council as required by sub - rule ( 2 ) of rule 11 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection ) Rules , 1964 ;
Now, therefore , in pursuance of the said sub -rule , the Central Government hereby publishes the said proposals for the information of the public likely to be affected thereby.

Notice is hereby given that any person desiring to forward any objection or suggestion with respect to the said proposals may forward the same within thirty days of the date of the publication of this notification to the Export Ins- pection Council , 'World Trade Centre' , 14 / 1 - B , Ezra Street ( 7th Floor ) , Calcutta- 1 .
Proposals
The notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 1608 , dated the 3rd May , 1968 , shall be amended as follows , namely:-
In the Annexure to the said notification , under the heading " A. Specifications . "- ( 1) for the words " It shall conform to the specification given hereunder as per the declaration of the exporter" , the following words shail be substituted , namely:--
"It shall conform to the grade sizes as agreed to between the buyer and the seller" .
( ii ) the Table shall be omitted .

का ० श्रा ० 3275 .---यनः केन्द्रीय सरकार की राय है कि निर्यात ( गुण नियन्त्रण और निरीक्षण ) अधिनियम , 1963 ( 1963 का 22 ) की धारा 6 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , भारत सरकार के भूतपूर्व वाणिज्य मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना सं ० का ० प्रा ० 1608 , तारीख 3 मई, 1968 मैं , भारत के निर्यात व्यापार के विकास के लिए , नीचे विनिर्दिष्ट रीति से संशोधन करमा आवश्यक या समीचीन है;
और यतः केन्द्रीय सरकार ने उक्त प्रयोजन के लिए नीचे विनिर्दिष्ट प्रस्ताव बनाए हैं भौर उस निमिस वे प्रस्ताव निर्यात ( गुण नियन्त्रण और निरीक्षण ) नियम , 1964 के नियम 11 के उपनियम ( 2 ) द्वारा यथा अपेक्षित , निर्यात निरीक्षण परिषद् को भेजे हैं ;
मतः अब , उक्त उप नियम का अनुसरण करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार एप्तद्वारा उक्त प्रस्तावों को उन लोगों की जानकारी के लिए प्रकाशिप्त करती है जिनका सबसे प्रभावित होना संभाव्य है ।
2. एतद्वारा सूचित किया जाता है कि जो कोई व्यक्ति उक्त प्रस्तावों के बारे में कोई आक्षेप या सुझाव भेजना चाहे , वह उन्हें इस अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन की तारीख से तीस दिन के भीतर निर्यात निरीक्षण परिषद्, 'वल्र्ड ट्रेड सेन्टर ', 14/ 1 -बी ० , इज़ा स्ट्रीट ( सातवीं मंजिल ) , कलकत्ता-1 को भेज दे THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY

प्रस्ताव
भारत सरकार के भूतपूर्व वाणिज्य मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना में ० का ० श्रा ० 1608 , तारीख 3 मई, 1968 को निम्नलिखित रूप से में संशोधित किया जायेगा, अर्थात्:--
उक्त अधिसूचना के उपाबन्ध में ' क विनिर्देश ' शीर्षक के अन्तर्गत---
( i ) "वह निर्यातकर्ता को घोषणा के अनुसार एप्तद्धीन दिए गए विनिर्देश के अनुरूप होगा ' शब्दों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित शब्द प्रतिस्थापित्त किए जाऐगे , अर्थात्:-- 'वह क्रेता और विक्रेता के बीच करार पाए गए श्रेणी आकारों ( ग्रेड माइजों ) के अनुरुप होगा ;
(ii ) सारणी लुप्त कर दी जायेगी ।
