MINISTRY OF FOREIGN TRADE ORDER New Delhi, the 24th. October 1970
S.O. 3495.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 3981, dated the 22nd December, 1965, the manage- ment of the industrial undertaking known as the Muir Mills Limited, Kanpur, had been taken over by the Authorised Controller for a period upto and inclusive of 21st December 1970;
And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the management of the said industrial undertaking by the said Authorised Controller should continue for a period upto the 21st December 1971;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub- section (2) of Section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the order mentioned above, shall continue to have effect for a further period upto the 21st December 1971.
